Understanding Cooled vs. Uncooled Optical Gas Imaging Webinar
Gain a better understanding of cooled and uncooled optical gas imaging (OGI) cameras in this webinar, hosted by Craig O’Neill, Director of Strategic Business Development for OGI/Oil and Gas Industry at FLIR. Topics include the science behind the two types of cameras and differences in gas contrast and sensitivity. He also addresses common questions on cooled and uncooled OGI.
Questions and Answers
DOES THE GF77 HAVE BUILT IN GPS LIKE THE GF320?
DOES FLIR HAVE A GAS CAMERA TO SEE SF6 WITH AN UNCOOLED SENSOR?
Yes. The FLIR GF77 can see SF6, ammonia, and ethylene when paired with the HR (9.5-12 µm) lens. Learn more about which FLIR OGI can see which gases here.
IS THERE A SPECIAL CERTIFICATION PROGRAM FOR THE UNCOOLED CAMERA OPERATION?
No. The OGI certification provided by ITC (the Infrared Training Center) covers functionality of all cameras including the new uncoled GF models.
