Star SAFIRE® 380X

380X For Star SAFIRE 380-HD, 380-HLD and 380-HDc

The Star SAFIRE® 380X provides advanced image aiding capabilities in a single LRU, and is available in our globally renowned Star SAFIRE 380-HD, 380-HLD and 380-HDc systems. These intelligent imaging features are also available as an hardware, firmware, and software upgrade to an existing 380-HD, 380-HLD or 380-HDc system. The new 380X skillet reduces operator workload for faster, smarter decision support and features customizable configurations for multi-tile video management and visual user interface, and touchscreen and streaming tablet support. It also features an integrated moving target indicator (MTI) and de-scintillation filter, that removes atmospheric effects to reveal clearer, sharper detail from greater distances.

Single LRU HD EO/IR Imaging System

The Star SAFIRE® 380-HD provides superior image stabilization, ultra-long range imaging performance, and true metadata embedded in the digital video. Featuring internal navigation for precise targeting, a MWIR thermal imager, optional HD color and low-light cameras, and multiple laser payload options, the system is fully hardened for military fixed-wing and helicopter operations. It can operate continuously in all conditions — even while sitting on the tarmac with no airflow.

The SeaFLIR 380X-HD provides enhanced features for superior shipboard EO/IR capabilities, perfect for ultra-long range surveillance missions at sea. The single LRU system is easy to integrate, operating simply as a node on a network and requiring no additional junction boxes. Fully seaworthy and hardened for military vessels — and fixed-wing and helicopter operations — it can operate continuously in all conditions — even when there’s no airflow. Ranger® HRC-MS

Portable, Long Range Thermal Imager

The Ranger HRC-MS is a high-resolution mid-wave thermal imaging system built around a large format 640x512 array and a choice of powerful continuous-zoom telescopes. Available in its standalone, environmentally hardened enclosure, the system can also integrate an optional high-magnification CCD or HD CMOS color camera, laser rangefinder, and digital magnetic compass.

Short-Range Perimeter Surveillance Radar

The Ranger® R1 is a ground-based perimeter surveillance and tracking radar that accurately detects personnel and vehicles at a range of up to 700 m. It scans a full 360° every second, covering up to 1.5 square km (0.6 square miles). Additional units — such as a mid-range Ranger® R2 — can be networked in an overlapping array to protect larger areas, stitching together an impassable radar area outside and inside your perimeter.

Ranger® R20SS

Long-Range, High Resolution Target Detection Radar

The Ranger® R20SS is a ground and coastal surveillance radar specifically designed to detect and track personnel and vehicles within a 20-km range. With its solid-state electronic scanning capability and fast 2-Hz refresh rate, the Ranger R20SS delivers best-in-class target detection and acquisition performance. Because it operates in the X-band, R20SS is minimally affected by adverse weather or precipitation. It scans a +/-90° area twice per second with low false alarm rate.

The Ranger® R3 is a high-resolution radar that accurately detects personnel and vehicles at a range of up to 2,800 meters in virtually any climate, weather, or lighting condition to provide 24/7 security. Able to scan 360° every second to monitor more than 24 square kilometers (9.6 square miles), it can be integrated in an overlapping array with a variety of other radar and EO/IR units to conform to terrain profiles and protect larger areas such as borders.

Long-Range Perimeter Surveillance Doppler Radar

The Ranger R3D is a dual mode, ground surveillance radar designed to provide efficient, 24/7 persistent surveillance, both within and beyond the fence. Operating in the Ka-band, the Ranger R3D leverages the resolution and accuracy of advanced FMCW technology and the extended range and terrain adaptability of Doppler in a single, compact, and lightweight package. Ruggedized for permanent, all-weather installations and mobile, stop-and-scan operations, its low minimum detection velocity (MDV) detects slow-moving threats such as walkers and crawlers.

Ranger® R5

Long range, high resolution Perimeter surveillance Radar

The Ranger® R5 is a ground-based radar, designed to withstand the rigors of a desert environment. Providing 24/7 security to ranges of up to 5,000 meters, the Ranger R5 scans a full 360° every second, effectively monitoring up to 78 square kilometers (30 square miles). Multiple units can be installed with overlapping coverage areas to protect larger areas such as borders. Network with FLIR EO/IR imagers to initiate slew-to-cue capability.

Ranger® R5D

Long range, high resolution Perimeter Surveillance Doppler Radar

The Ranger® R5D is a dual mode, ground surveillance radar designed specifically for the environmental conditions common to the Middle East region. As a dual mode radar, the Ranger R5D uses FMCW modulation and can be operated in either Fast Scan or Doppler mode with a Fast Scan range up to 5km. Low minimum detection velocity (MDV), high resolution, and advanced tracking algorithms result in low false alarm rates.

The SUMIT360™ provides military armored vehicle operators with an innovative, 360 degree view of the environment around the vehicle utilizing advanced sensor technology to improve threat and obstacle detection that could pose a threat to ground forces, and their mission. Equipped with powerful multi-spectral sensors in each module, the system uses on-board processing to form seamless, stitched images to provide a full field of view in any terrain, and virtually any conditions, day or night. With additional target detection and identification capability, the system can also be paired with advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide vehicle crew, and transported troops a threat detection and classification to provide critical decision support before opening the hatch. TacFLIR® 230

Compact Short range HD Multi-spectral Surveillance System

The TacFLIR® 230 provides maximum sensor range performance including a high-resolution color zoom TV camera with low light capability, a powerful 640x480 cooled MWIR thermal camera with 18x total magnification, and optional laser pointer and rangefinder. At 41 pounds and with a nine-inch diameter, the TacFLIR 230 provides the ability to deploy on any platform including UGVs.

Medium-Range HD Multi-Spectral Surveillance System

TacFLIR 240-EP is an advanced land-based sensor designed to meet a variety of applications for military and federal law enforcement. Containing the same HD payload options within its lightweight stabilized turret as the TacFLIR 240, but also Extensible Processing (EP) capabilities which are hosted by the Control Electronics Unit (CEU). The system supports advanced image-processing like Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging (MSX®), Adaptive Temporal Filtering (ATF) and Advanced Local Area Processing (ALAP) via a high-performance computing engine and dedicated graphics processor unit (GPU). Multi-sensor capabilities like HD thermal, HD daylight and HD low light camera options, alongside eye-safe laser range finder and laser pointer assist with best-in-class detection, recognition and identification (DRI) help meet evolving threats and mission challenges.

TacFLIR® 380-HD

The TacFLIR 380-HD is a state-of-the-art ISTAR sensor designed for land vehicle applications. Identical to airborne and maritime versions of the Star SAFIRE 380-HD, TacFLIR 380-HD goes further with other sealings and shock mounts for land vehicle environments. Payloads include a MWIR camera with a native 1280x720 resolution, HD CCD cameras, HD SWIR camera, a laser range finder, and a laser pointer. Four-axis stabilization gives the TacFLIR 380-HD unmatched geolock and target tracking capabilities.
